This project, funded by the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI), investigates private sector involvement in delivering social and affordable housing, aiming to provide a roadmap for increasing supply. It will involve four remote Investigative Panels (focus groups) and interviews that will engage private finance, investment and development sector participants along with senior public policy makers with experience across traditional and emerging social and affordable housing products, markets and investment propositions. Informed by these panels and new evidence on emerging models and markets, the project aims to define replicable strategies for increasing affordable supply and industry capacity.
